⠀⠀Ferris is a muscular, well-built man of above average height with short shappire hair and amber eyes—with distinct eyebags. He possesses a light pale skin tone with thick eyebrows. He usually wears long clothes to cover his skin as he feels uncomfortable when it is exposed too much. His attire is known to be mostly dark since he does not want to draw others’ attention. Because of living life as a combatant, he is known to possess a lot of scars. Ferris has a tattoo of Chinese Dragon printed on his back, throughout his spine to be exact, and a bear tatto along with several letters and symbols on his right hand. The Chinese Dragon is known to be a symbol of the organization as well as indicating that he had been labeled. Contrary to popular belief, he loves to wear a necklace, mostly it takes form of chain.

⠀⠀Spending eighteen years living in Shangri-La, Ferris is a cold-hearted person—lacking of empathy, except for few people he views close. The grudge he holds has shaped him to be pushful that he will do everything to achieve his goal, ignoring the morality applying in society. He is quiet and calculated. He is usually seen keeping his mien netral. Nevertheless, Ferris sometimes can lose his composure. Albeit it will not be depicted on his mien, wrath will flood his veins. If he can not handle it, he might show it forthright. It is frequent for him to be viewed rather cynical due to his eyes. They do not look hospitable. But, it is due to lack of sleep as he has been suffering from insomnia.
⠀⠀As a mafioso, whilst running a mission, Ferris is known to be obedient, loyal, and deft. His job is to assassinate people, yet he does not desire blood nor enjoy witnessing people to suffer. A job is simply viewed as a sheer job that he has to do. Celerity, accuracy, effectiveness are those which he lays his work on. He is devoted and strictly centralizing himself to accomplish one which has been determined.
⠀⠀Contrary to his job, as a Descendant, he has been bestowed to possess captivating aura. His voice sounds hoarse and deep. He is not quite civilized in speaking, so sometimes profanity might secede from his mouth.

“Then, Adam split our sole continent, The Prometheus, into four terrains.”
“Mom, we shouldn’t’ve caught in a snare of trick like Adam, am I right?”
“Mm. You must possess your own stance, Henrik.”
“Okay, Mom! Please, continue the story.”
“There was a man named Isidore Rosseau who managed to salvage his people with a favor of The Ashrune, the glaive which was said to be created in Purgatorio itself. The glaive was reputedly to hold a huge amount of power. It was incredibly powerful that many desired to possess one, but the glaive was meant to be only possessed by Isidore and his progenies. There was no one capable to lift the glaive.”
“He has the same name with me!”
“You’re named after him, Honey.” There was a brief moment of pause. “But, the quiddity of the glaive had never once determined. It would change depending on its owner. And, unfortunately, the seventh heir used it for evil that caused a severe misery to people.”
“Whoa, he’s cruel! Then, what happened to him?”
“The legendary couple coming from nowhere who coincidentally resided in a nation with a perpetual snow stopped him with their great magic. The glaive would be weaker if it were intended to be utilized to commit evil.”
“Did he die, Mom?”
“Yes, along with his family, bestowed with a death penalty by the government. But, people said, their servants managed to salvage the youngest son.”
“What happened to the glaive?”
“It was placed in the temple, remaining ownerless for a very long time.”

⠀⠀Ashrune, Last Hope of The Damned.
⠀⠀An extensive fairytale told by his mother almost every night. In a remote corner of Ukiyo District, Shangri-La, they resided. When he was only four years old, his father—Zebulon Mévouigner—died while trying to shield Napoleon de Maupassants at the day he was about to be inaugurated as a peace symbol. Zebulon was a subordinate of the Shangri-La’s representative at that day. He was given no magnanimity for being a Descendant. Meantime, his mother—Madeline—started to work as courtesan in Red Light Area (歓楽街; kanrakugai).
⠀⠀They led quite a blithesome life. Destitution did not impinge upon them and that was enough to make them beholden. Henrik managed to go to school like a normal child. Albeit being taunted sometimes (the children said that his mother had been running an ignoble job), Henrik seemed not to care and determine to focus on pursuing education.
⠀⠀The turning point of his life began at the age of thirteen when he was notified that Madeline had been assassinated along with her client—naked. A twinge of agony swelled at the pit of his stomach, making him fall on his knees. His world ... he felt as if it had ended already. The abrupt demise of his mother brought a male outlier coming to him. He stated that he was Zebulon’s comrade and wished to ‘take care’ of him from now on. Isidore did not even recall his father’s looks. And, why did he come upon his mother’s demise? But, all suspicions dissipated the moment he stated, “I know who murdered your mother.” Wrath, despondency, even malice overwhelmed him. Thus, Henrik agreed to be under his care.
⠀⠀Reuben Cox, he is, originating from Shangri-Laitself. A politician as well as a head of renowned mafia organization, les Preneurs de Vies. It is said that he holds an intense influence throughout The Prometheus. Descendant, Nizescent, Denizen—under the appellation of les Preneurs de Vies, the divergence dissipates. He has certain connections to Zakoldova, Drachenfort, and Liberté itself. But, Henrik was foolish and juvenile for being embezzled grudge. He does not know what race Reuben is.
⠀⠀Ever since being under Reuben’s care, Henrik became one of his adoptive children and legalized his name to Ferris Cox. Beside pursuing education, he was trained properly to be one of them. The sole thrust why he has been pushing himself is the grudge he holds. Reuben would let him assassinate the perpetrator(s) behind Madeline’s assassination only if he were to be considered worth it. Lucky for him to be born with advanced comprehension, he was capable to learn things quickly. Day by day, he drove himself to be better in order to prove his worthiness. A lot of people praised him to be genius, yet he was not in the slightest. Advanced comprehension and genius, both are different.
⠀⠀Les Preneurs de Vies engages in a variety crimes—assassination, fraud, money laundering and extortion, trafficking and prostitution, and smuggling. As a mafioso, Ferris under the pseudonym of Silas, got his job as well. He was specialized at assassinating and robbing.
⠀⠀At the age of eighteen, he was sent to Zakoldova to continue his education. Reuben notified that Zakoldova is the best place to learn things for there is a lot of pristine Descendants residing. He wished Ferris to develop his capability at healing and regeneration. Converging with new people as well as culture, Ferris attempted to be as adaptive as he could. With an assistance of the mafia’s members, he managed to adjust himself to Zakoldova’s milieu.
⠀⠀Upon seven years staying at Zakoldova, Reuben ordered him to find a treasure in Drachenfort. The glaive which was reputed to be mighty, the glaive which was only mentioned in fairytale, Ashrune. It was placed in a certain temple, remaining ownerless. Yet, its strength had never dissipated in the slightest. It is still biding its owner. And, the mission given is said to be his final mission to accomplish if he wishes to know the truth.

But, why all of sudden? According to the fairytale, the glaive can only be lifted by Rosseau.
So, how is he supposed to bring it for Reuben?
Ah, fairytale—probably, things written are not entirely accurate, are not they?
